I Like Things Hard

When I was breaking down our campsite at 6am this past week before the rain hit, I had a bolt of adrenaline. Then it hit me. I like things hard. It’s why I love Crossfit, intermittent fasting, and being a founder.


Things being hard gets me out of my head, pushes me to grow, and ultimately brings out the best in me. But this is also a weakness. I don’t always look for the easy solution.


So today, reflect. Do you default to liking things to be hard or easy? Do you rise up in the face of challenges? Or do you prefer working smarter and figuring out the hacks to make things easier?


Both are great. Knowing which you are can help you motivate yourself, but also see blindspots.
